Position Description:

MCN Solutions, LLC has an exciting opportunity in our IT Department. We are seeking a Validation Specialist III to join our growing team and support our Web Content Management System Project. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be detail oriented, able to work in a team environment and independently. You will:

 Provide technical expertise for the development of software validation and testing plans, process improvements and innovative approaches to production and validation activities including technical improvements and utilization

 Develops, reviews, and approves Standard Operating Procedures for software validation activities and assists users in the development of system operating procedures.

 Completion and/or approval of all software validation documents to ensure that internal and external regulations are met in support project submissions. 

 Manages quality audits of users’ validation documentation and subcontractor documentation for regulatory compliance.

 Monitor software validation processes to ensure strict adherence with protocols and SOPs. 

 Evaluate process issues and perform trend analysis

 Prepare and execute software validation protocols, analyze data, and prepare summary reports.

 Keeps up-to-date on changing federal and international regulatory requirements and government audit policies.

 Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies.

 Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure system requirements are met. 

 Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products.

 Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.

 Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex software/hardware applications.  

 Direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design and test tools selection.

Skills Requirements:

Required Skills:

 Candidate should have a minimum of 8 years in the role of a Validation Specialist.

 Demonstrated experience assisting in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.

 Demonstrated experience analyzing test cases and providing regular progress reports.

 Must have excellent oral communication skills in order to convey information and concepts effectively.

 Experience identifying   functional problems and suggesting resolutions.

 Experience using testing tools such as Quick Test Pro, Test Director, Mercury Quality Center, etc.

 Experience using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Publisher, SharePoint, Access, Visio and Lync.

Desired Skills:

 Experience working with cross-functional team.

 A demonstrated strength in group assessment/observation strongly preferred.

Education:

Position requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area or 12 years of experience in the field in lieu of degree.
